-25 Are you kidding me??

It is SO cold. Our church was canceled today because of the weather conditions so we are home and just wishing Jez's work would've been as generous. :) Our high today is supposed to be zero degrees and with the wind chill the temp is -25! We went out to Wal-Mart last night and I think it was the first time in my life that I have felt -25 degree weather. It isn't too bad when you don't have to be out in it, but let's just say I'm grateful for a heater in my van, house, etc. I took these pictures today. The first is the window in my bedroom. The window is frozen with a layer of ice on the INSIDE of the double pane glass. The second is the air conditioning unit in our room with ice growing inside of it. The whole side of the unit has a layer of ice (on the wall) and the unit has ice coming out of the vents. :) I guess it's time to dig out the cover to put over it.

Yesterday day it snowed most of the day. It wasn't as cold and I let the kids go out and play for a minute. Now I'm just hoping they aren't sick for Christmas.

We hope you are all doing well... and in spite of the weather, we still love it here. :)

I know that it is much colder there than here....but I still must complain at least once a day that I hate winter. HAHA.

That is so why I won't let Malik move us to there. (even though he would like to be in hockey country) I don't deal well with the cold, especially when it lasts for a long time. You are having a better attitude than I would for sure. Stay inside and drink lots of hot cider and cocoa. Happy Christmas to your family!

Oh my goodness!! I thought it was cold here!! It has been getting below 0 at night, but the highs have been in the teens. We have gotten about 3 feet of snow in the last 5 days, it is crazy!! I don't even want to go outside, but Ray loves it! I was just looking at your anniversary post-I remember 10 years ago when you got married. You two have come so far since then, you are both such great examples to us. It is always trying on a relationship to move to a brand new place where all you have is each other. It can really make or break you, but I have found that it has really made Ray and I closer every time we have done it. I know it is the same for you and Jez-you really are soul mates :) We love you guys!!

Holy frozen bananas! Sorry you are becoming human popsicles! I remember feeling pretty dang cold in Rexburg with a chilling wind chill factor, but truthfully, I don't think we ever got that low. I know it was close, but I feel for you!
